I decided to raise livetourdates from the un-dead and switch back on again. Hope this was a good idea.

The reason for for originally switching it off lest year is still the same - mainatining the gig-database is eating recources - both human and machine..=/

Leaving livetourdates.org offline was the easy way - but often the easy way is the boring way. So I'll see how things develop. I will probably not start feeding the database with new tour dates right away -- but at least I'll try to keep a stream on news running here in the blog section...

Well. And if you'd like to have an account so you could maintain you own venue- or band-related news section here on livetourdates.org then lease feel free to frop me a line here or on twitter: @livetourdates

..enjoy the show..=)

Is "Berlin based" actually (still) the correct term when talking about Atari Teenage Riot..? Well- at least for me it still is. So- here we go:

Berlin based electropunk pioneers Atari Teenage Riot are kind of back on track, releasing their fourth studio album "Is This Hyperreal?" later this year, accompanied by a 20+ gigs heavy tour across Europe, Japan, and some cities across the U.S...

So far I couldn't find Berlin on the list - which makes me wonder... but I'm somehow actually quite shure the gang will hit Berlin in some way - or the other - at some point..:P

Feel free to check their website at www.atari-teenage-riot.com for a sneak preview of the upcoming release - or go straight to the gig listing -->

I never know when is the right moment to write about love write about tour dates - should you try to be the first, faithfully following all the newsletter issues, facebook posts, twitter tweets - just to be the first kid on the blog..? Or should you just lean back, relax, get youself some tickets first - and then the world wide web know about it? I just don't know.

Well - I guess you got the point: Belle & Sebastian have of course already been visiting various cities all across the globe last year, promoting their latest release Write About Love. But only now i can be rather sure to see their Berlin performance on April 6th, since I finally got hold on some tickets...:)

Long story short: here's the current list of tour dates for Belle & Sebastian.......

Well well well - the boys are back together, just released their record breaking album Progress and have an impressive list of upcoming tour dates in the pipeline. Wow. First things first:

It is virtually impossible that you haven't heard the news that Take That are back - together - which means in the original setup - WITH Robbie Williams. Yep. Who would have guessed. Not me..:] I actually had to wait a couple of days to post this - so that I can be sure that it really is true. But at least since I saw that "documentary" "Retake That" I think I am convinced that the band is back. Maybe even back for good. At least back for an album and a tour.

Which brings me to the headlined connected to Take That's recently released album Progress: it just turned out to be the best selling album in the UK for the past 13 years. That means over half a million copies sold within a week. Wow again. And congratulations. Not that the boys would have desperately needen a financial success, but how boring would it have been, if their come-back-release would have flopped?!

And of course Take That are currently not just meeting and greeting and talking about their new album in TV shows all across europe, but they will also go on tour in 2011.

First of course Great Britain and Ireland will be served with an impressive string of stadium gigs - but then from July 2011 on also some other European cities will get their share. Berlin however is not on the list. At least not yet.
